Kaushik Prasath is the founder of Xtenza Tech, a software company in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. Xtenza Tech helps early-stage founders build and ship their first product quickly, acting as a technical co-founder on demand. It also builds and publishes its own apps, and Tend is one of them.

Why Tend

Most habit apps either shame you about broken streaks or trap you in weekly subscriptions. Tend was built to do neither. It puts two ways of tracking side by side: habits, where you aim to do something a set number of times a day, and counters, where you simply count things like coffees, glasses of water or pages read, with no goal attached. Start free, upgrade once if you love it, and let the app fit your real schedule instead of guilting you about it. (Why both matter: habit tracker vs counter.)

About the articles and tools on this site

Kaushik writes the articles here and builds the free tools. A few rules apply to everything published on tendcounter.com:

  • Bias is disclosed. Tend is our app. Whenever an article compares apps or recommends one, it says so.
  • Claims are checkable. Competitor prices and features come from their own App Store listings, and research is credited to its source.
  • Corrections are welcome. If something is wrong or out of date, email us and it gets fixed.
  • Free tools stay free. The counters and habit trackers on this site need no account and keep your data on your device.
